In the spirit of tea ceremony, which honors the seasons, we named each glaze after our favorite summer flower, the lotus (hasu):

• Renge (蓮華): the lotus blossom (Red-Orange-Brown)
• Hasuha (蓮葉): the lotus leaf (Green-White)
• Hasuike (蓮池): the pond it floats on (Gray-Blue-Brown)
