TEA TEA TEA is a family-run Japanese tea company based in Los Angeles.

We are two brothers, Mikuto and Kio, working alongside our dad, Shingo. TTT is our family’s vision of Japanese tea, rooted in our upbringing as the children of Japanese immigrants in LA. From drinking mugicha on hot summer days to having a hot cup of hojicha after dinner, tea has always been a part of our lives.

Over the years, as our curiosity towards tea matured, we realized that most people rarely get to interact with the broader culture that exists around Japanese tea. It often ends up being treated simply as a beverage, while the objects, spaces, and people behind it remain unseen. TEA TEA TEA is our attempt to change that.

To us, it is not just the tea itself that gets us excited, but the craftsmanship, curation, and spirit that goes into every facet. Alongside naturally farmed tea and matcha, we aim to highlight the sōgo-geijutsu (total work of art) of sadō (Japanese tea ceremony). Whether it be the static components that shape the space, or the active ones that are involved in making the tea, TEA TEA TEA brings these elements together, in a way that is shaped by our Japanese heritage and American upbringing.
